Stained Tooth Society members, Spring Release begins March 19th and we’ve got *FIVE NEW WINES* to brighten up the season! In addition to a delicious new lineup, we also have FIVE exclusive member events so you can taste the new wines and take home your favorites.
Below, you’ll find pick-up event dates and reservation links , important information about your allocation, and lots of info on the new wines.
What You Need to Know About Spring Release
- COC & STS 6-BOTTLE MEMBERS, your Spring Release allocation includes one bottle of each of the five new releases listed below, plus the 2022 Tall Tales Syrah.
- STS 3-BOTTLE MEMBERS, your allocation includes one bottle each of the 2023 Squirrel Tooth Alice, 2022 BFM and 2022 Cabernet Franc.
- If you wish to CUSTOMIZE YOUR ALLOCATION, you have until Sunday, April 13th. Simply join us at a release event, book a reservation to taste with us in Walla Walla or Edmonds, or login to your account and customize your allocation online. We highly encourage you to take advantage of this option early as several of our new releases are extremely small lots, and we expect them to sell out during release.

New 2025 SpringWines
2023 Squirrel Tooth Alice – Stone Tree Vineyard, Wahluke Slope
75% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre
This kick ass Grenache focused blend hails from Stone Tree Vineyard and stirs things up a little, probably not unlike the woman it is named. Soft entry and ripe fruit with acid and tannin to please everyone. Who is the infamous Squirrel Tooth Alice? Legend has it that this party girl of the early West made being a cowboy truly “legendary”. We felt it was necessary to pay tribute to one of the ladies that kept the lonesome cowhands springing out on the ranch.
2022 Stained Tooth Syrah – Walla Walla Valley
97% Syrah, 3% Viognier (co-ferment)
Purple is our favorite color. You know you’re drinking the good stuff when your teeth develop that unmistaken hue. Don’t worry, Chad’s father Dr. Dan Johnson D.D.S. says, “life is too short to stain your teeth on bad wine.” The Stained Tooth Syrah is sourced from some of Washington State’s top vineyards including two of our Walla Walla Valley estate vineyards – Stoney Vine and Southwind. The bouquet floats out of the glass and draws you into the extraordinary fruit while the ripe tannins provide a silky finish.

2022 Cabernet Franc – Southwind Vineyard Estate, Walla Walla Valley
90% Cabernet Franc, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Petit Verdot
Southwind Vineyard Estate lies on the Oregon side of the Walla Walla Valley, perched high on a ridge of ancient lava flows overlooking the beautiful Walla Walla Valley. The diversity in elevation and soil profiles make it an extremely special place to grow grapes. Varietal typicity is spot on from the floral aromatics to the dark fruits, slate, and mineral. This generous vino is fabulously food friendly and fantastically franc-o-licious!
2022 BFM – Dionysus Vineyard, White Bluffs
85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot
We love Washington State Merlot, and think it’s one of the greatest places in the world to grow and make it. That’s part of why we are so honored to get to work with a little slice of history with the old vine Merlot at Dionysus Vineyard. Our winemaking team had some fun with the name on this one, so as some might say…it’s going to Blow your Freaking Mind!

2022 Cabernet Sauvignon – Columbia Valley
96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot
This is just a spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon from the Columbia Valley! This medium bodied wine is both lithe and expressive, with embracing tannins wrapping gently around a focused core of dried herb-accented black cherry and licorice flavors, dancing with finesse on the finish.

Celebrate the arrival of Spring with new wines in the Grand Barn at the picturesque Trillium Nursery Farm. Chef Veronica will be serving up crowd favorites from beginning to end. We’re bringing plenty of wine with us, so don’t be shy about picking out a few extras when you customize and take home your allocation. Cross your fingers for (dry) beautiful Spring weather so we can have games out on the lawn, sure to be fun for the whole family!
